Group of Three William F. Halsey Items William F. Halsey Inscribed Photograph Signed. 7" x 8.75"(sight), n. d. Admiral Halsey is seen in uniform facing slightly to the left. Inscribed in lower right corner to Rear Admiral Allan E. Smith. Matted to an overall size of 8" x 10". [and:] William F. Halsey Typed Letter Signed. One page with integral blank, 6" x 8", n. p., April 2, 1943, to Ben Kohn of Boy Scout Troop #326 thanking them for their efforts "...maintained on the home front." [and:] William F. Halsey Program Signed. Four integral pages, 6" x 9", Sagamore Hill [New York], September 14, 1953. Halsey signed a program for "Exercises on the first day of issue of the commemorative postage stamp honoring Sagamore Hill." Halsey (1882-1959) commanded the South Pacific area during the Second World War.
