Description

Geronimo Twice Signed Card. The famed Apache leader has placed his distinctive signature twice upon a 4.5" x 3.5" card. With the original transmittal envelope addressed to L.N. Skinner of San Diego, California. The envelope is postmarked from Fort Sill, Oklahoma, November 2, 1904. Geronimo spent the last fifteen years of his life at Fort Sill, a prisoner of the United States. He died of pneumonia five years after this signature was sent.
