    Description

    General Winfield Scott Autograph Document Signed. One page, 7.75" x 2", Washington, January 4, 1850, ordering payment of $28.25 to Daniel Campbell, who signs on the verso. "Old Fuss and Feathers" served over five decades in the U.S. Army from the War of 1812 until the opening of the Civil War. A small tear in the middle of the document has been repaired with tape on the verso. Small staple holes near the right edge; chipping at the left. With a 5.5" x 7.5" engraved portrait.
