Description
Confederate General Isham Warren Garrott Clipped Signature "I W Garrott". Garrott formed the 20th Alabama Infantry and was appointed their Colonel. It was in this capacity that he signed the document from which this signature was cut. He was killed by a Union sharpshooter during the siege of Vicksburg on June 17, 1863.
