Interesting content concerning the continued minting of silver coinage by the United States government. Minor spotting and slight weakness at the folds, else fine.

Edwards Pierrepont was the chairman of the National Executive Silver Committee. This letter concerns the continued minting of silver coinage by the United States government. Beck writes of the Banker's Convention "making all sorts of false promises" about bank notes. Beck, then a United States Senator from Kentucky, also dismisses the arguments of those supporting gold, "The gold worshipers must be insane, or I am."
