Description
Jose Antonio Paéz Document Signed "J. Ant. Paéz." Four pages of a bifolium, 7.25" x 9", circa 1820. Written in Spanish, untranslated, but appears to be a decree. Signed at the conclusion.Jose Antonio Paéz (1790-1873) was a Venezuelan military leader who fought for independence from Spain alongside Simon Bolivar.
Condition: Smoothed folds and age toning. Bits of paper loss and small separation along integral fold, with pinholes along interior margins indicating prior binding. Small tear along right edge of the second sheet of the bifolium.
