Albert Einstein Signed Copy of Einstein: His Life and Times. Philipp Frank. New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1947. Third printing. Signed on the front free endpaper "A. Einstein 48." Octavo (6.5" x 9.5"). xi, 298, xii pages. 8 plates of black and white photos. Red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine and front board. Penned by Einstein's close friend, Dr. Frank, whom Einstein personally recommended replace him at the University of Prague.Condition: Spine sunned and gently pushed; minor dent to the fore-edge of the rear board. Endpapers gently toned. Text block edges with light scattered foxing, top edge darkened, slight edgewear to fore-edge, internally clean and bright.
