Description
Giuseppe Verdi Autograph Letter Signed. One page of a bifolium, 5.25" x 8.25"; St. Agata; September 17, 1895. A letter of recommendation written in Italian: "I certify that Nicolo Andrea has for many years been an indefatigable farmer and I recommend him very warmly. G. Verdi."Condition: Flattened folds with light creasing throughout, lightly toned. Stray stain at top affecting both pages of the bifolium, and a small stain along the right margin of the integral blank. Previous dealer's pricing at top left corner of verso.
