Texas Ranger Frank Hamer: Autograph Letter Signed and Telegram. ALS, October 23, 1918, written on two sheets of 8" x 10.5" Department of Labor U. S. Employment Service stationery from Hamer (signed "Dad") to his son Chuck. Hamer, credited with killing Bonnie & Clyde, discusses personal matters, focusing on some intense pain in his shoulder that is persistent. Sold together with an October 23, 1918 telegram from Hamer to his wife advising her that he has arrived safely in Harlingen (partial splits at folds, sold together with transmittal envelope in Hamer's hand).
