Description
Sitting Bull: An Early and Wonderfully Documented Autograph. Sitting Bull has signed on the back of a delightful advertising card for the Randall House Hotel at Fort Randall, Dakota Territory. Above the Lakota leader's autograph is a fine handwritten pencil authentication, dated 1882, by Major G. L. Andrews, who was at the post for most of the time Sitting Bull was being held there. Minor light staining on the card, and one-inch tape reinforcement of an edge tear on the advertising side. The card measures 4.375" x 2.5". Accompanied by John Reznikoff/ University Archives Certificate of Authenticity.Auction Info
