Meyer Lansky Check Signed. 6.25" x 2.75", Boston, June 1, 1939. Drawn on The National Shawmut Bank, Lansky sends $24.07 to the Monmouth Consolidated Water Company. With the usual cancellation perforations. Lansky (1902-1983), known as the "Mob's Accountant," was a founder of the National Crime Syndicate with Charles "Lucky" Luciano and was acquainted with other known mob figures such as Bugsy Siegel and Frank Costello.
