Description
Martin Luther King, Jr., Time Magazine Cover Signed. 8.25" x 11", February 18, 1957. Just two months after the end of the Montgomery Bus Boycott, Dr. King made his first of four appearances on the cover of Time magazine (here on a Canadian edition of Time). King, who is seen in a portrait by Time magazine artist Boris Chaliapin, has inscribed and signed near the right edge. Worn folds with two binding holes at the upper edge. Remnant of a sticker at lower left. King appeared again on the cover of Time in 1963, this time as Time's Man of the Year.Auction Info
