Description
Linus Pauling Autograph Letter Signed and Signed Photograph. Includes:Linus Pauling ALS. One page on Nassau Tavern Hotel letterhead, 7 1/4 x 10 1/2 inches, Princeton, New Jersey; November 20, 1954. A brief letter to "Mr La Valse" in which Pauling asks to have his wife's ring fixed urgently. In part: "My wife's ring lost the diamond again within 24 hours. Will you have it fixed and send it air mail...She must have it by 1 December." Signed, "Linus Pauling."
Linus Pauling SP. 7 1/4 x 6 inches. A black-and-white photograph of Pauling in his office. Signed "Linus Pauling" in black felt-tip at the bottom margin.
Condition: Letter is very lightly toned with smoothed folds; minor creasing at the left edge; two very light red stains on verso. Photograph with a touch of soiling near the edges.
