Description
James J. Corbett Autographed Letter Signed "Jas j Corbett" on his wife's personal stationery. One page, 6" x 7.5", April 18, 1926. Very fine.More Information:
Addressed to a Mr. Gerhab, Corbett writes: "Am very sorry to say I will not close my season till around first of June but may be some time next season when I am playing Phila we might arrange it." Posthumously inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame, Corbett became a heavyweight boxing champion as a young man. He lost the title in 1897.
