Description
James Gamble Letter Signed. One page, 5.5" x 6.75", on Office of Proctor & Gamble letterhead, Cincinnati, January 11, 1876. Writing to Treasurer C. B. Marsh, Gamble asks that he "Please give to the collector of Procter & Gamble a check to my order for the quarterly dividend upon my 'preferred stock.'" Text of the letter is slightly faded, but Gamble's signature is bold and bright. Light ink bleedthrough from the verso. Smoothed folds.Auction Info
