GROUP OF TWENTY-SEVEN SIGNED PORTRAITS..
Please note: Autographs from the Leonard Finger collection have not been autenticated by Spence/Grad but we believe these autographs to be as stated.
This group includes signed portraits of actors from the turn-of-the-century to the early 1920s. Some of the portraits are of high quality and are included for that aspect, more so than the subject. Includes: 4 1/2 x 6" mounted photo signed on the mount by JUANITA [Hanson] and the photographer LILLIAN RUTH HART (Hanson was a stunt woman with an appetite for wild Hollywood parties, we are told), lovely 7 x 9" sepia portrait signed FRANCIS STARR plus signed portraits of: ALMA GRACE, EMILY KELLER in "Record Breakers", GREGORY KELLY, GRACE VALENTINE, LOUISE HUFF, DOROTHY JACKSON, OLGA PETROVA, OTIS SKINNER 1914 (sold with unsigned production still of 1931 "Kismet" and older portrait), GERARD DU MAURIER, two different ANNIE KENT 1914 (one in fair condition), ALBERT CEBOLLERO 1922, ALICE JOYCE, WALKER WHITESIDE, JAMES B. CARSON from "Red Heads" 1913, EDMUND BREESE, CLIFTON CRAWFORD, LAURETTE TAYLOR (with her dog from the original 1912 production of PEG O' MY HEART signed by BOTH!) plus others we cannot identify because only first name was used.Auction Info
