Francis Scott Key Petition Signed "F S Key." Four pages, 7.75" x 12.75", [Somerset, Maryland], [circa 1830]. Key has placed his name to a petition in favor of the consecration the Reverend William M. Stone as the new Bishop of Maryland. Both pages have detached along the horizontal fold, but Key's signature, which appears in the lower half of a page titled "Laity," is unaffected.Auction Info
