Clara Adams Signed Cards Includes 1" x 3" piece of skin from the airship Graf Zeppelin affixed to card signed by Adams. Also includes two other cards signed by the female aviator. Very fine.More Information:
Aviator Clara Adams set several flying records and was the first woman to cross the Atlantic Ocean as a passenger on the Graf Zeppelin. This collection offers the following:
(1) Signed postcard
(2) Signed envelope, "'Graf Zeppelin'/ 1928/ Very rare/ and/ very precious/ ITEM!/ Sincerely,/ CLARA ADAMS".
(3) Card with affixed Graf Zeppelin skin signed, "Goldbeater's Skin of the airship Graf Zeppelin. Covering of gas cells. Clara Adams (First feminine paying passenger.)"
