Description
Walt Whitman Autograph Note Signed on a postcard, 5" x 3" (sight). "Camden, New Jersey Nov: 4 '80." Whitman writes: "Yours rec'd with enc. - thanks - I forward my two vols: to-day by mail. Same address as this card - Will you please send me a postal soon as they reach you safely notifying me? Walt Whitman". Addressed by Whitman on verso to: "Rev. M J Savage/37 West Newton Street/Boston Mass:". From the Estate of Rod McKuen.Condition: Card a bit toned, with postal cancellation stamps on verso and recto. Matted, framed and glazed, with a photographic portrait of Whitman, and with a portion of the verso visible.
