Partial Autograph Note Signed by Herman Melville removed from a letter to "A. Huntington Esq.". The noted author writes: "Present my compliments to Mrs. Huntington and make me Yours Very Sincerely H. Melville". Sheet, 5" x 3", has been glued to a larger page, likely from a book. Despite showthrough from mounting, paper is very clean with dark ink. With room for matting around holograph, in very good condition. A scarce literary signature by the author of Moby Dick.Auction Info
