Horatio Alger Autograph Letter Signed. Two pages, 4.5" x 7", January 16, 1890. Known for his Victorian 'rags to riches' novels, the American author sends a letter to Doctor Griffin in part: "I appreciate your kind offer, but hope I can keep my young minds out of mischief-If they are foolish I will gladly send them to you."
