Harriet Beecher Stowe Signature and Sentiment on a card. 3.75" x 2.25". In full, "Very Truly Yours - Harriet Beecher Stowe / Mandarin Florida / March 30 1883". A small lighter area of discoloration along right margin and a few spots of foxing do not detract from the appearance of this large and bold signature. Mounting remnant and pencil notations on the verso. The Stowes kept a winter home in Mandarin, and husband Calvin would hold Bible classes there.Auction Info
