    Description

    Salvador Dali Autograph Letter Signed "Dali". One page, 7" x 10.5", 1947, on stationery from the Del Monte Lodge in Pebble Beach, California, in Spanish authorizing the publication of his illustrations for Don Quixote in an American magazine. Earlier in 1946, the Spanish surrealist painter provided illustrations for The First Part of the Life and Achievements of the Renowned Don Quixote de la Mancha by Miguel de Cervantes, published by Random House of New York. This letter is framed and matted with a photograph of the artist for an overall size of 20.25" x 18". It exhibits some folds.
