Don Troiani: Original "Confederate Charge" Oil on Canvas.20" x 30" painting depicting seven Southern soldiers engaged in a fierce engagement against unseen troops. The color-bearer holds aloft a tattered and battle-scarred "Stainless Banner". Shells explode in mid-air. Fires are burning along a ridge in the background. It is signed in the lower right corner "Don Troiani c. 87" Excellent condition. This is a dramatic and compelling work from one of the most notable Civil War artists of our time.
