Description
Civil War-Era Field Apothecary Kit With Scales.The walnut case measures approximately 10 3/4 x 6 x 6-inches. In addition to the top lid, the front panel is hinged to allow access to the contents. The case is fitted with brass hinges and a recessed brass carrying handle on the top of the lid. Though not entirely complete the contents include several bottles of various medications including Spirit of Sal Volatile, Boric acid, cold cream and other identified substances. The case also contains a small hand-held brass scale, brass weights and a small wood-handle measuring tool.
Condition: Very good. A few small chips and cracks to bottles.
