"The Straight Shooter" Joe Bowman Chrondek Fast Draw Timer with Carrying Case.Model FD-7, customized by Chrondek for Joe Bowman himself. Serial no. 33, factory calibrated and date 9/20/65. Dial reads: THE STRAIGHT SHOOTER / JOE BOWMAN / HOUSTON TEXAS / FAST DRAW / TIMER. Dial is set up for zero to one-hundred, with breaks at 1/4, 1/2 and 3/4. Timer measures right at 15-inches x 15-inches x 7-inches. Two RedLine speakers. Handle is marked: CHRONDEK. Contained in wooden carrying case measuring: 17-inches x 16-inches x 8-inches. Inside lid of the carrying case features a photo of Joe Bowman and 43rd President of the United States, George Walker Bush. The Chrondek Fast Draw Timer is a specialized timing device developed in the mid-20th century to measure the reaction time and speed of shooters in Fast Draw competitions. This particular one was used at numerous shows by Mr. Bowman.
Condition: Good. Overall showing honest age, handling and storage wear. Speakers are torn. Motor makes noise when plugged in, however the timer is not in working condition. From Joe Bowman "The Straight Shooter Collection".
