Schützenfest: Collection of Ten Gold Shooting Medals Mainly From the San Francisco Schuetzen Verein, 1885-1915. This beautiful collection of medals is framed and mounted under glass to an overall size of 12 x 9-inches. All examples 14k gold unless noted and pinback. Includes: 1.) 1885 California Schuetzen Club 1st Class engraved on the reverse to "C. C. Rholffs". 19.5 gr. 43 x 60 mm. 2.) 1896 C.S.C. Best Centers medal, 10 gr. 38 x 58 mm. 3.) 1915 World's Fair Shooting Tournament Grand Festival Medal engraved to "H. Nicolai". 4.) 1904 San Francisco Schuetzen Verein 3rd Class medal marked "W.G." on reverse. 18.2 gr. 31 x 62 mm. 5.) 1859-1909 San Francisco Schuetzen Verein Golden Jubilee medal. 15.9 gr. 45 x 63 mm. 6.) 1902 N.D.S.C. (Nord-Deutscher Schuetzen Club) 3rd Class medal. Marked "W.G." on the reverse. 12 gr. 40 x 51 mm. 7.) Undated N.D.S.C. 4th Class medal. 15.3 gr. 35 x 50 mm. 8.) 1898 San Francisco Schuetzen Verein 25 Year commemoration medal. 29.1 gr. 41 x 63 mm. 9.) 1905 N.D.S.C. Siebe Medal for 3 Best Centers. 12.6 gr. 35 x 46 mm. 10.) 1901 San Francisco Schuetzen Verein 4th Class medal. 23.1 gr. 33 x 55 mm.Condition: All examples in excellent condition.
