Description
[Powder Flasks]: Lot of Four 19th Century Floral Pattern Powder Flasks.Includes: 1) Abercrombie & Fitch, New York Fluted powder flask, 8-inches to the tip of the spout, 3 ½-inch wide body. Screw-off top. [Riling 293]. 2) Hunting scene with foliate designs, 7 ¾-inches to the tip of the spout; 3 ½-inch wide body. Top marked PATENT. Screw-off top. [Riling 985]. 3) Hunter and dog powder flask, 7 1/2-inches to the tip of the spout, 3 ¼-inch wide body. Design on the front face; back face plain. Unmarked. Screw-off spout. [Riling 993]. 4) James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield, floral powder flask, 8-inches to the tip of the spout; 3 ½-inch wide body. Screw-off top. [Riling 523].
Condition: 1) Lacking one lanyard ring, spring functions properly, very good condition. 2) Light shallow dimples, spring functions properly, nice patina, very good condition. 3) Light shallow dents, spring functions with help, good condition. 4) Spring does not function otherwise very good condition.
