Description

Two Cast Iron Mechanical Banks. The first bank is a replica of the Wolf and the Squirrel. the coin is placed on the tree stump and by pushing the wolf's tail the squirrel pushes the coin into the wolf's mouth. On the bottom the bank is marked "Pat. 7.23.1883 Hubley." Hubley was first incorporated in 1894 and the first toys appeared in 1909 so this appears to me to be a newer bank issued at a later date. Size: 7" x 7" approximately.
Included is a classic Creedmore made by J. E. Stevens, in working condition with soiling and wear. The base is 10" long and the bank still works.
