Description
Li'l Abner and His Dogpatch Band Wind-Up Toy. Lithographed tin set, clockwork, with the piano and the animated figures of Li'l Abner, Daisy Mae, Mammy, and Pappy Yokum on drums. This 1945 American mechanical wind-up toy was made by the Unique Art Manufacturing Co. (USA). The tin printed piano is illustrated with colorful lithographs around its body, with a few rub marks and light surface wear. The characters show light surface wear as well, but retain vibrant colors. All are in very good condition. Mechanism needs work on the piano. This set of classic mechanical toys is a great starting point for the toy collector. Scarce vintage toys for the discriminating collector.Auction Info
