Description

Ferdinand Strauss Tombo the Alabama Coon Jigger Mechanical Wind-up Toy, No Box.
Three-pieces, including base, figure, and support rod, tin construction, 9.75" tall when assembled, Strauss name, location, and patent date (May 24, 1910) on bottom of base.
Condition- Toy shows a number of surface scratches, especially to the bottom of the base, and on the torso and legs of the figure. However, the face of the figure is unaffected, and the mechanism is in good working order. This is a truly wonderful mechanical tin piece from Strauss's early days.
