Aviation Toy Lot including the Electric Spirit of St. Louis Tower & Plane Set. Commemorating the Spirit of St. Louis this toy has a tin litho tower, 20" tall, and two pressed steel and tin airplanes, fuselage 11", wingspan 10.5". The airplanes circle the tower in endless rotation when switched on. Condition: One pilot figure missing, one propeller missing, one side of tower sun faded, has not been tested to determine if it's in working condition, otherwise in very good condition.Also in this lot are three vintage metal toy airplanes: 1) a Cragstan tin litho friction "Spirit of St. Louis, fuselage 9.5", wingspan 12"; 2) a Girard tin litho "Transcontinental Air Lines" airplane, 16" fuselage, 17.5" wingspan, and 3) a pressed steel Wyandotte high-wing airplane, 12.5" fuselage, 18" wingspan. Condition; All three examples with moderate play wear, else good condition.
