Description

"Teddy and the Bear" Mechanical Bank made by the J. & E. Stevens Co., Cromwell, CT, designed by Charles A. Bailey, circa 1907. Push the slide back to cock the gun and place the coin on the gun's barrel. When the lever is released the coin is hot into the stump and up pops the bear. From the William Esser Collection.
