Description
United States Thirty-six Star Flag. Printed on canvas bunting, 27" x 19.5", mounted on the original 28.5" wood pole (bottom end broken), the entire flag and pole are attractively framed (32" x 34" overall). Inside the frame is a descriptive gilt plaque noting that the 36 star flag was in use following Nevada's entry into the Union (1864-1867). Modest soiling, bright colors, thus very fine.Auction Info
