Framed Sampler: "Dorcas Shield" in 1796 on her thirteenth birthday. Framed and multi-colored silk thread on linen, this sampler has some minor staining near the top but is certainly a fine early example. Very fine stitching and nicely designed. Size: 8" x 15.5".Auction Info
