William Curtis. Three Botanical Prints from Flora Londinensis. Three hand-colored copper engravings, including works by James Sowerby and Sydenham Edwards, from Curtis' great work originally published in London, 1777-1798. All in very good or better condition.

This lot of three prints on watermarked laid paper includes: Papaver Rhœas, artist unknown. In excellent condition. Sheet evenly toned; a couple of shallow bends. 10.5 x 17.75 inches. [and:] James Sowerby. Onopordum Acanthium. Very good. Sheet toned; edges chipped. Several tiny holes in margins. 12 x 19.5 inches. [and:] Sydenham Edwards. Bromus Diandrus. In excellent condition with faint foxing. Watermark reads: "W Balston & Co 1816." 11.5 x 19 inches. All have light penciled notations.
