John Gould (1804-1881). Nyctea Nivea.A lovely hand-colored lithograph of the Snowy Owl from Gould's Birds of Great Britain (London: 1862-1873). In very good condition with general toning to the sheet and light browning around the edges. Right side shows binding edge. Light penciled notations. 14.75 x 21.75 inches.
