Lot of Five Ethnographic Scarring Knives from Central Africa. Lot of five assorted scarring and tattoo knives from various tribes of the Central Congo or Zaire. All have different blades and lengths. Numerous tribes of Africa utilize scarring and tattooing as a cultural expression and beautification technique. These knives are examples of the tools used to create these patterns. Condition: All are fair to good, showing age wear, pitting, light surface rust and patina.
