Description
Extensive Cased Collection of Plaster Cameos. Six "stacking" trays each containing assorted plaster cameos affixed to a green paper liner. These range in size from .75" to 2.75" and are oval and oblong in shape. The subjects depicted are classical in nature. We count an even 200 cameos. One is missing. Each are numbered, but the collection does not contain an inventory or index. Most are still adhered to the paper liner, but some are loose. Circa 1850. One piece of "railing" has become detached and needs repair.Auction Info
