Description

Western Union: Thomas A. Edison Stock Ticker Tape Machine With Glass Globe. Works stamped "M'f'd by T. A. Edison Inc. 8392". The heavy cast iron base has a name plate on one side inscribed, "J. W. Dodge." Weighs close to 18 pounds. 8" in diameter, 11" tall without dome, 14" with what appears to be the original glass dome. Generally the instrument appears complete, however, small parts/pieces may be missing. The machine has the original spool of ticker tape paper. The brass retains most of its original golden lacquer finish. Shows good age and character. Sold together with the glass dome cover.

Condition: The item displays in fine condition.
