Paul Revere Silver: A Large Coin Silver Table Spoon with Interesting Modification. A large, heavy spoon, 7.5" in length. The bottom of the bowl was re-shaped by the user, possibly to enable the spoon to better reach all the contents of a bowl or pot. Familiar, bold "REVERE" stamped hallmark, as well as engraved initials "M H" on reverse. Original old patina, with accrued tarnish as shown. A most interesting example from the fabled Boston patriot and silversmith.Auction Info
