Patriotic Plate: Mulberry Flag and Liberty Cap, Circa 1840. 8" in diameter. A white plate with rose-colored patriotic images, highlighted with green and blue glazes. At the center is an American flag, a pole with a Liberty Cap on its end, and several floral booms. Outer edge repeats the mulberry blooms in rose, green and blue. No maker's mark. Very fine.
