Description
Abraham Lincoln: Bronze Bust by Max Bachmann. 27" high x 15" across, hollow bronze bust of beardless Lincoln. Inscribed "Copyright 1905 by Max Bachmann" on the base. Other sides of the base are signed "Max Bachmann" and "Roman Bronze Works, N.Y." We sold a wonderful Bachmann bust in plaster not too long ago and have seen examples in terra cotta. The "Roman Bronze Works" bronze version is undoubtedly the most desirable of all! This one has a beautiful patina and is in great shape!Auction Info
