Composite Colt U.S. Model 1851 Navy Percussion Revolver. Serial no. 73357 [triggerguard, gripstrap, frame and cylinder]; 59668 [barrel lug], .36 caliber, 7 1/2-inch octagonal barrel with single-line New York address. U.S. markings on left side of frame. Small brass triggerguard and gripstrap assembly. Lanyard stud hole in butt filled. Butt with cryptic large letter M stamping. Walnut one-piece grips. Condition: Good as configured. Metal with mottled grey-brown age patina and scattered light dents and blemishes. Barrel lug a replacement. Grips very good with minor wear and marks. Action good.Auction Info
