Scarce 16th Century Armor Breastplate. The bulbous armor breastplate with heart and double circular bosses on chest, articulated skirt panels and leather greave straps. Armorer's mark on front, below top edge. Size: 16 1/2-inches tall. From the Martin Retting Collection. Condition: Very good, showing wear, minor dents, pitting and age patina.. One strap broken.
