Fine Fluted Maximilian Close Helmet. A beautifully polished example of a Maximilian armor close helmet with articulated vented visor and hinged side elements with locking device. Floral side rosettes. Remnants of ancient leather liner ring. Plume holder on back of helmet. No gorget. Size: 12-inches tall. Condition: Very good to excellent with polished exterior. Visor a probable replacement. Interior with wear and dark patina.Auction Info
