Aramaic Lead Scrolls (Three)Jordan.
Ca. 5th century A.D.
1-1/2" W. & 7-7/8"L.
Three Aramaic scrolls on lead, one of which is unrolled and sandwiched between plexiglas, two rolled, all with chalky gray surfaces with areas of crystallized green patina on the rolled examples. Edge roughness on all the examples.
