19th Century General Surgery/Amputation Kit.

Complete with over 20 instruments, accessories and attachments in a fitted wooden case. The figured wooden case measures approximately 16 x 7 ½ x 4-inches and has inlayed decorative brass strips, lock face, hinges and escutcheon. The instruments are housed in fitted compartments lined with maroon velvet with a pull out tray containing additional instruments. The bone saw is maker marked MILLIKIN LONDON; the remainder of the instruments are unmarked. No key is provided for the lock.
