Lafayette Cigar Inner Label Proof, eleven-color, 10" x 7". George Washington's trusted lieutenant, the Marquis de Lafayette, is shown as a young man in full Continental army fig. Two oval vignettes depicting scenes from the young Frenchman's stay in America flank the portrait. Printer's color bars along lower margin, register marks on four sides.
