Description

Exposition Inner Proof Cigar Label by The American Lithographic Co. N.Y. An eleven-color lithographed 10" x 7" inner proof label printed with the 1901 Pan-American Exposition in Buffalo, New York in mind. The label features lady Columbia dressed appropriately in red, white, and blue with a gold eagle on her breast and gold crown standing before the exposition grounds. In her hand she holds an award document titled "Highest Award Exposition 1901" which is a bit of wishful thinking as the label bears a copyright date of 1901. This label has been encapsulated and graded EX 7 by GCLGS. From the Richard Revolinski Collection.
